I hope visitors to this site enjoy these images* made from several of the fractal programs I've been using since last Summer, 2001.  My first introduction to fractal images had great resonance for me.  Thankfully there are several fractal programs which allow one with small knowledge of higher Math to make beautiful images.  A little persistence and a feeling for visual imagery are all that are needed to get started.

The images here are a mix of work.  Some are straight from the fractal program that rendered them, while others have been "post-processed" in Photoshop.  I'm starting off this site with six pages of thumbnails which if "clicked on" will refer you to a larger version of the same image.

A great place for viewing more of these beautiful fractals, freshly made, is the newsgroup "alt.binaries.fractal-art". This newsgroup is where I saw my first fractals.

I will be adding more features to this site as my time and web skills permit and I can be reached by e-mail here if you would like to comment on the site or make a query.  Enjoy the fractals,

Jim
